Yes the campervan has an 84l fridge/freezer that works off the leisure batteries, meaning you can arrive at your destination with chilled drinks and food.

Can we travel with children in the campervan?

Absolutely, we loved going on adventures with ours and making family memories.  All of the seats have 3-point seat belts.  We have a selection of card and board games we can put in if you require.

Does it get cold in the campervan and can I camp in the winter?

Our campervan is insulated and has a built-in gas heating to keep you toasty in the winter.  It doesn’t have a popup roof so the heat is not escaping through this big gap in the roof that has no insulation.  We can also supply an electric heater in the colder months that you can plug in when hooked up at a campsite. We love cosy winter camping and have always thought that all our caravans and the campervan are better insulated than our house

Where should we stay in the campervan?

There are several websites or apps that will help you find a good place to camp, including pitchup.com
There is also an excellent app called ‘searchforsites‘ available on Apple and Android app stores.  Which allows you to easily find stopovers and campsites.
We promote responsible camping where you should ‘leave no trace’ or even ‘leave it better’, and obviously, you should only stay where overnight camping is permitted, and you must dispose of rubbish and waste responsibly. Hirers are responsible for any parking enforcement and penalty charge notices.

Do we need to hook the campervan to electricity when at a campsite?

Our campervan has a leisure battery that can power the fridge freezer, water pump, lights, USB and 12v sockets for a period of time. The leisure battery gets charged when hooked up at a campsite and can’t be fully discharged or they will be damaged.  When hooked up the 240v electrical sockets also work that can be used to power electric items (laptop, toaster, etc).
